Jeri Houghton, a native Idahoan, was born at Mountain Home Air Force Base and raised in the Post Falls/Coeur d'Alene area. She joined the Idaho STAR Program as the Student Services Specialist in early 2021 and was promoted to Office Manager in 2022. Jeri is "the voice of STAR" as she is typically the first to answer phone calls and assist current and future students with questions about classes and licensing requirements. Jeri brings 35+ years of customer service to her position along with her outgoing personality to ensure a pleasant interaction with all.

Jeri has been riding motorcycles since she was 4 but hasn’t been very active with riding for about 15 years. Her favorite hobbies include gardening, camping, horseback riding, and hanging out with her husband, their Mini-Bernedoodle, and their 2 Mini-Goldendoodles.
