Carlos Teixeira

Training Manager

Carlos was born in São Paulo, Brazil and moved to Miami, Florida at age 7. After honorably serving in the US Air Force in Mountain Home AFB, he chose to stay in Boise and enjoy the outdoor life. He met his wonderful wife as they ventured into motorcycle riding and completed the Idaho STAR Basic I course. It was there they found their love for motorcycle safety and became a part of the Idaho STAR family more than a decade ago.

Carlos became a mentor, a Quality Assurance team member, a trainer, and finally the Training Manager, bringing extensive experience from managing banks and call centers across the Americas. He currently rides a KTM 790 Adventure and a KTM 500 EXC Supermoto, but has ridden a myriad of makes and models over his short riding tenure. “There are too many bikes to ride and not enough time to ride them!”

An avid motorsport racing fan, dedicated husband, father, and animal lover, vintage video game collector, and a 90’s kid at heart, Carlos aims to raise motorcycle safety awareness while having fun and enjoying the ride.
