EBII - BASIC II (Level 2 Endorsement Course)

The eBII, Basic II Course is designed for riders who want to develop beginning street riding skills, but who are comfortable with the basics of turning, shifting, stopping, and balancing the motorcycle.

Content: online classroom and on-cycle instruction in street-strategies and emergency situation skills. You will practice cornering, braking, and swerving maneuvers on the riding course.

Duration: Average of 4-6 hours to complete the online classroom + approx. 5 hours of hands-on practice on the motorcycle. Course end times are approximate and may vary due to weather or other circumstances. All students MUST complete the EBRT online classroom to receive a course completion card. 

Cost: $174

Provided: Motorcycles are provided. For this course, you may choose to ride one of our motorcycles or bring your own, no size restriction.

Requirements: See STAR gear requirements. A motorcycle permit or endorsement is not needed; however, a driver's license or permit is required.

You must complete BOTH the online classroom and the range session to receive a course completion card. Cards WILL NOT BE ISSUED until successful completion of both is achieved.

Additional Information: Successful completion of this course will waive ITD's skills test requirement, if the endorsement is added within two years of passing the course. More info.

General Information About eBRT

The eBRT classroom uses interactive video, graphics, and other features to build solid mental riding skills. Users should have a modern desktop, laptop, or tablet computer and high-speed Internet connection, in addition to other system requirements.

Smartphones are not recommended.
