WE RECOMMEND OUR BASIC RIDER TRAINING COURSE FOR YOU.
This course is designed for the novice rider with no or limited street riding experience. This 17-hour course includes both classroom and on-cycle instruction. You will learn fundamental skills required to operate the motorcycle and progress to street-strategies and emergency situation skills. Passing this course does waive the DMV Skills Test for motorcycle endorsement. Motorcycles are provided in this course. Tuition for Basic Rider Training is $165.
LOOKING FOR A SLOWER PACED COURSE?
If you just want to see if motorcycling is for you or are especially nervous about riding and would like to ease into it at a slower pace, we recommend Intro to Riding. This 3-hour session covers motorcycle controls, starting, stopping, and balance. Class sizes are kept low for lots of individual attention. This course does NOT waive the DMV Skills Test for motorcycle endorsement. Motorcycles and helmets are provided. Tuition for the Intro to Riding course is $45.
LOOKING FOR SOMETHING MORE ADVANCED?
If you already have recent street-riding experience, are comfortable with clutch, throttle, and brake control, and are confident you can interact with other riders safely in a closed-course environment, we recommend an Intermediate Rider Course. Passing this course does waive the DMV Skills Test for motorcycle endorsement. Although we strongly recommend bringing your own motorcycle to this course, training bikes and helmets are provided if needed. Tuition for the Intermediate course is $165.
